Ravage

Okay, Ravaged is intense. Like emotionally punchy, no-chill, lean-into-the-dark kind of intense. This is not a soft romance and it’s definitely not a casual read you half pay attention to. It wants your full focus and your emotional stamina.

What pulled me in is how raw everything feels. The characters are carrying so much damage, and the story doesn’t rush past that or try to pretty it up. The connection between them is messy, painful, and sometimes uncomfortable, but it feels real for the kind of world they’re in. You’re not watching two perfect people fall in love, you’re watching two broken people collide.

The romance is consuming in that dark way where you’re constantly torn between wanting better for them and understanding why they keep choosing each other anyway. There’s obsession, control, vulnerability, and a lot of emotional weight. It’s one of those books where you pause and just sit there like… wow, that hurt, but I need to keep going.
If you like dark romance that doesn’t pull its punches and actually lets the pain linger, Ravaged will probably work for you. Just know what you’re signing up for. Check your triggers, expect to feel wrecked, and don’t go in looking for comfort. Go in looking for intensity, because that’s exactly what it delivers.
