Confess
Confess is one of those quieter Colleen Hoover books that sneaks up on you emotionally. It’s not loud or dramatic in an over the top way, but it definitely hits you in the feelings. The story deals a lot with grief and loss, and you can really feel how much the characters are carrying around with them.
What stood out to me most were the confessions woven throughout the book. They made everything feel more raw and personal, like you were getting a glimpse into people’s most vulnerable moments. It added an extra layer that made the romance feel more intimate instead of just a typical love story.
The relationship itself is slow and thoughtful, focused on healing and learning how to love again without losing who you are. It’s emotional without being exhausting, and by the end I felt hopeful in that soft, quiet way.
If you like romances that are heartfelt, reflective, and a little bittersweet, Confess is definitely worth reading.
