His Haze
I found His Haze randomly on Galatea and honestly did not realize what I was getting myself into. I thought it was a standalone at first, and then quickly realized… oh wow, this is a whole series. That was both exciting and slightly overwhelming.
The story pulled me in pretty fast. There’s a lot of emotional tension and that classic Sapir Englard angst where feelings are messy and nothing is simple. I liked how intense everything felt, especially the push and pull between the characters. It’s the kind of book where you keep reading because you need to know what happens next, even when you’re frustrated.
What surprised me most was how deep the series actually goes. Once I realized there were multiple books, it made more sense why things unfold the way they do. It’s definitely written to keep you hooked and coming back for more.
If you like angsty romance, long story arcs, and discovering a series you didn’t even know you were signing up for, His Haze is a fun find. Just be prepared to realize halfway through that you’re in it for the long haul.
