Listening to A Court of Mist and Fury on audiobook felt intimate in the best way. This ended up being my favorite book in the series, and hearing it come alive through audio made the experience even more special.

Anthony Palmini did an incredible job as Rhysand. His voice captured Rhys’s confidence, softness, and quiet intensity so naturally that it was impossible not to feel pulled into every scene. It didn’t feel performative, it felt felt. The kind of narration that makes you pause, smile, or sit in a moment a little longer.

Hearing the story from a different perspective allowed everything to fall into place emotionally. Small details that once seemed minor suddenly carried meaning, and Sarah J. Maas’s storytelling really shines in audio. There’s a gentleness and intention in the way this story unfolds that made the emotional growth feel earned and deeply personal.

At its core, this book is about finding your voice again, reclaiming your power, and learning who you are when you finally choose yourself. The romance develops slowly and honestly, the found family wraps around you, and by the end, you don’t just understand the characters...you feel connected to them.

This audiobook didn’t just tell the story, it held it. And I’m still sitting with it.
