Madness
I am not being dramatic when I say this is the best book in the series. Madness ruined me. Fully. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. And a large part of that is because I became absolutely obsessed with Haidyn.
Haidyn is unwell. Dangerous. Calculated. And somehow irresistible. The kind of MMC that makes you pause the audiobook and stare into the distance like wow… I should not be attracted to this, but here we are. His obsession is intense, possessive, and unrelenting, and I ate up every single second of it.
Now let us talk about the audiobook because Corvin King deserves a standing ovation. I was genuinely dumbstruck by his narration. The control in his voice. The menace. The calm confidence that makes everything Haidyn says sound ten times more unhinged and ten times hotter. I was smiling, blushing, and occasionally whispering sir please relax into the void. He did not just narrate this book, he embodied Haidyn, and it elevated the entire story to another level.
The tension is immaculate. The obsession is loud. The chemistry is feral. And somehow, beneath all the chaos and darkness, there is depth that makes you emotionally invested instead of just entertained. I was locked in from start to finish and never once wanted it to slow down.
It had me laughing, gasping, clutching my headphones, and immediately texting friends like you have to read this right now. If you are even remotely a fan of dark romance, obsessive MMCs, or narrators who absolutely understand the assignment, Madness is a must.
Best in the series. No notes. Read it. Listen to it. Let Haidyn ruin your life too.
